I hope they don't plan on using that in a card. It isn't his signature. It is a secretarial signature. Lyndon Johnson's real signature is one of the rarest autographs amongst presidents. It is believed that more genuine Washington signatures exist than Johnson. He had pretty much everything since being elected to his first office signed by a secretary, mostly a man named Bruce Thomas.

PSA authenticates secretarial sigs as real all the time. It's a shame.

Wow, I never heard this before on LBJ. Why did he not sign his docs himself?

Also, with this stuff going live in a couple weeks, don't you think the stuff is packed and ready to go. I don't think they would still be out buying stuff to insert into the product this late.

He would sign documents himself that a president would have to sign such as treaties and laws. Good luck getting ahold of one of those. However, many presidents have used secretaries to sign correspondence and requests for autographs. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if a good half of the signatures in this turn out to be secretarial. PSA/DNA is infamous for saying secretarial signatures are authentic. The sad part is that he could have saved his money if he had done a 30 second Google search about Lyndon Johnson and what a real sig looks like versus a secretarial.

That is interesting stuff to know. I know their is a website that shows all UD errors and bad autographs that have showed up in Legendary Cuts. Where the auto's were either from wife of player's or ghost signed. It also said the Ruth/Joe D from the famous pull of a lifetime box break at the backstop, that the Ruth was in fact a known fake on that piece. As well as those on quad UD cut auto with Ruth/Cobb/Johnson and can't remember who else was on it. It was on the HBO show. Where a few of those were fakes. I have website saved somewhere.
next thing we will see is some show on Razor Oval cuts and how many turn up being bad. I hope not. Seems like a cool product and I look forward to seeing if anyone does some video box breaks on them.
