3. Jake Lamb's slugging percentage: .607
That mark leads the NL and trails only Ortiz in the entire league, and it comes from a low-profile, 25-year-old D-backs third baseman. Lamb was on MLBPipeline.com's Top 100 Prospects list prior to last season but came into 2016 with a career line of .254/.314/.382 over 144 games. He smacked his 19th homer of the season on Sunday and owns an OPS of better than 1.000 against right-handed pitchers.

To complete my Lamb man-crush I have picked up a 2013 BC base auto & refractor auto. At the moment there is 2013 BC gold refractor auto listing up for $185 that I'd love to pick up but I'm just not sure if I'm ready to crop that much coin just yet. If Lamb can finish the season with 35+ HR and keep his average above .280 I think $30 for a base auto will end up being a steal. You won't find many players in their mid 20's who can do that and have base autos below $50.

ANYWAY, an update on his stats and his NL ranking:

.290 avg 19 HR (7th) 59 RBI (5th) .974 OPS (2nd) 3.3 fWAR (4th)

Leads the NL in slugging percentage, ISO & triples.
