Choosing the right pitcher to trade is coming back to haunt the Braves. Actually you can say its been that way forever going back to the Kevin Millwood trade to the Phillies. If you go back in time, I know its hard, John Smoltz should have been the one traded.

I only say that because the Braves could of packaged Arodys Vizcaino, Martin Prado, and Jarr Jurgens for something attractive this off season.

It's still a full calendar year that he's on the shelf, and probaby the most important year, growth-wise, in his career. It definitely is not a deal-breaker, but is a big setback
