Well didn’t plan on it at the game tonight, is what it is haha 2021 game worn ‘74 Throwback signed, Will Smith. Absolutely beautiful jersey in person. The 2 games it’s authenticated for he didn’t pitch, but he did pitch the next day in each case wearing a throwback, there’s some stains on the front as well as the sleeves so I’m hoping to be able to photo match it to a game, either way, it’s a great piece from the World Series year7AF40922-5D6C-4DAC-8C79-DA49177F3C03.jpeg

Also since Strider broke his own record of fastest to 200K in a season, had to try and get a ball from tonight. About 7 in front of me at the store but luckily they went for some Braves position players so I was able to get a Strider pitch to Rengifo

I've been falling behind on my scanning but I had to show off this one:

2006 Topps Chrome Red Refractors Frank Thomas 04/90. This completes the team set and the non-Super team rainbow: base, Refractors, X-Fractors, Black Refractors, Blue Refractors, and Red Refractors. I don't have a single Superfractor from the set, go figure.

Been doing this for 1 guy since 1986....... still learning about cards I didn't know existed, nor were arranged specifically in a way... paramount Double Vision. Landed each half this week, 1 from ebay and 1 from LCS, totally random, not looking for tgem, didn't know they connected till I slapped the second one down on the shelf tonight lol.

Excited, yet bummed at the same time. Bud Grant, Vikings HOF coach on a rare certified auto card. Bummed that the PO was extra mean and the packaging could have been better, so the card ended up getting slightly creased in route.

I remember the excitement of Marino to Clayton and Duper. I will say I wish players would sign their names w/ nickname instead of just a nickname. Some prime examples include Pistol Pete, Big O, Rocket & Missile Raghib, and this Super Duper. It is his signature still, but feels a little incomplete.

Forgot this with my other post. Shawn Kemp owns 2 cannabis shops in Seattle now and apparently has been coming down to each store a couple times a week for a few hours for meet/greets. Saw it on facebook and since I kind of pass close to 1 at around lunch time each Thursday for work, I stopped in. It was pretty neat. The place was actually empty. I chatted with Kemp for about 5 minutes and he signed 5 cards for me.

If you live in the Seattle area, not sure how much longer he'll do it, but Tues/Thur on 1st Ave S (1-5PM) and Mon/Wed in Belltown (eve hrs, 5-9 or something like that).

I forgot to bring a pen, but thankfully he had them. Most aren't best for a signature showing well, but they were the best cards I had easily available. Wish he would have signed across the bottom from L to R instead of up the right side, but beggars can't be choosers, right? I did tip the cashier $20, which is what some were saying they did if they didn't buy any of the store product, which I did not.

These three complete the 1940 Play Ball Philadelphia A's team set. The biggest cards in the set are Connie Mack and a "throwback" card of Home Run Baker. I've had both of those for years so finishing off the rest wasn't too tough.

2001 Pacific Retail LTD Mulder 30/85, 2003 Fleer Genuine Reflection Descending Zito 74/81, 2005 Fleer Authentix Mezzanine Hudson 59/75, 2002 Fleer Mini Dye 08/50 (tough set to track down), 2011 Topps Gypsy Queen Framed Black Printing Plate Cahill 1/1 (I already had the Mini black plate so I had to grab this even though I already have tons of Cahill plates), and 2023 Topps '88 Gold Auto Dermis Garcia 30/50.
