I'm not sure how BA reacts to players going down a level (although it's still age appropriate) but I'd say Cardenas makes the list. Along with Dom Brown, Taylor, maybe Montero.

I don't think anyone stood out this week (as far as I can see)...so, it could be slim pickings....

In no order:

Todd Frazier
Chris Heisey
Desmond Jennings
Michael Taylor
Ryan Strieby
Jemile Weeks
Dominic Brown
Mat Latos
Zach McAllister
Matt Maloney
Evan Anundsen
Jake Arrieta
Jeremy Jeffress
Corey Kluber
Scott Elbert
Adrian Cardenas

....and possibly Gordon Beckham, although I'm not sure what their policy is when it comes to those who have already been called up.

Ryan Strieby-- .481, 2 homers, 8 RBI this week. Multiple hits in every game this week as well. Once again, if he's NOT there, I will lose a lot of respect for BA's opinion.

McCutchen? (not sure since he was called up)
Brendan Katin? 6HR's this week, though not really a "prospect" at 26

Anyone who doesn't think Mat Latos deserves to be at LEAST in the top three is nuts. Nobody pitched better than him in his last two starts.
Also: Michael Taylor, Adrian Cardenas

It's going to be a close call for # 1 between Mat Latos-Intolerant and Chris Heisey.

Good that Chris Heisey is finally getting the respect he deserves. Dude's been mashing and doesn't even have a card..

As I wrote in the "Milb Performance" thread yesterday,

I really think Taylor should make BA's Hot List for the 2nd week in a row (I think Taylor should be "at the very least" in the top 5 & his production really should land him in the #2 spot, although he probably would have taken the #1 spot but it seems that M.Latos will land there) as this week Taylor is:

14-for-28 (.500 avg), 10Runs, 2B, 2HR, 7RBI's, 6BB-to-5K's, 1SB (though he was 2CS/caught stealing 2 times).

If that isn't BA Hot Sheet worthy then it will be laughable (but that is the BA that we know from time to time)!

#1-M.Latos
#2-M.Taylor

I think Eric Hosmer should finally make the sheet (if not at least an honorable mention after going (May 29th-June 4th):

9-for-25 (.360 avg.), 4Runs, 2-2B, HR, 12RBI's, BB-to-5K's

Several other's that could/should get mentioned: 1.Kyle Drabek (his first AA start was a beauty!), 2.Brian Matusz, 3.Jesus Montero, 4.Cory Kluber, 5.Cory Luebke (these Padres SP's are REALLY putting up some nice outing's)!

But we shall see who BA choose's as they seem to always overlook player's & pull a rabbitt turd outta the hat!
