I was hoping for them to release the Lyles Metal autographs weeks ago. Sadly, the base Metal autographs just got posted today.

Outside of OBP, I just haven't seen much from this kid. And 1 awesome month in his fourth season of pro ball is just not that impressive. Again, with the exception of OBP he seems to be very streaky. I know tools, projections, etc are a big player, and maybe it just took him awhile to get going. I hope so, as I've got a decent amount of his stuff. I'll gladly eat crow if he keeps this up!

The fact that he has already matched his HIGH A production numbers in 40 less games in AA is a great sign for his progression as a player. Also, his pitch selection and K:BB ratio seems to get better each year.
Just because he isn't being rushed to MLB doesn't mean he is overrated by any means.

Super Dave (FCBville): Just curious as to why Freddie Freeman has gotten the snub 2 weeks in a row (although he was obviously worthy to be on the list)?
Matthew Eddy: Freeman cracked the Team Photo this time and would have earned a top 13 ranking if his week hadn't been interrupted by the all-star game. He was great on a rate basis, but playing in only four games makes it hard to accumulate counting numbers.

I agree to a certain extent, but being that he's in his fourth season I don't find it all that impressive. And I think we would both agree that he would be rushed to Cleveland if his numbers up to this point warranted the move.
