All from Red Oak Texas and all different sellers. Not even worth the 99$ they are getting on eBay.

That's a damn shame that Beckett would grade that card and to top it off they labeled it like it was a pack pulled Super

Very interesting thread...I would probably side with the backdoored theory vs. the custom-made. For one, if it was custom-made, you would think they would go so far as to stamp them 1/1, right?

In the fine print and the code on the back will show where the card was manufactured. I think there is a printer here in the DFW area that did the Topps Ticket to Stardom set. I haven't looked one up in awhile.
Will see if i have a platinum card around here and let you know.

Here is link on the topps website:

Enter this code from 2010 Platinum 8621001 and you get this it also comes up for several other products like Pro Debut
Looked on the back of 2012 Finest and it is not on there and the number for 2012 Bowman Platiunum is not working.

Allen, TX is in the Dallas Fort Worth area so I assume they are backdoored from this company.

Product: 2010 Bowman Platinum Baseball
CP code: 8621001
Manufacturer: Graphic Converting Texas
Manufacturer date: 10/11/10 - 10/22/10
Address: 204 E Bethany Drive, Allen TX 75002

I don't know if anyone read my post but I just gave you the info of where it came from.

After reading this thread I started wondering about this card I bought on ebay 10/29 from a 'Top Rated Seller' in Indiana with over 18,000 feedback.

Do you think it was backdoored or an actual printing error?

Regardless of why this is happening, Topps needs to get this straightened out. Even if the problem is not their fault, they are responsible for solving it.

I was just in a break where we pulled the Sabathia from the same set. I'll see if it is #'d for you.

Sad, this vitally important topic/ event has HALF the pages of the recently posted "leaf threads" and a FIFTH of the pages of the nonsense "rize"

Theres something wrong here.
