Stem cell therapy is the wave of the future. You don't have to kill unborn babies to get stem cells, which people love to say is the case and use that to rally against them. There are embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells. Yes, embryonic stem cells are more versatile, but adult stem cells are still extremely valuable.

But this thread isn't about that.

It's amazing, if it is the case that it was primarily stem cell therapy that aided Colon's recovery, how far medical science has come.

However, the doctor that performed the procedure also said “We gave him the means, but he has the focus and desire, the killer instinct. He worked his tail off to get back in the game. That is something stem cells cannot fix.”

I view stem cell therapy in the same light that I view any medical treatment. If I had to live with every injury I've ever had, with no surgery, rehabilitation, or medicine to repair me, I'd be in a lot of pain. Stem cells aren't going to create super humans; it's simply a therapy treatment to promote reconstruction.

As someone living with a debilitating disease I pray someday all forums of stem cell research will be legalized!

Which growth hormone and steroids are as well. They promote healing and recovery. You still have to bust your ass to get results.
