I LOVE seeing the Drabek comeback also, I forgot to mention that!

There are some people that are getting excited about him, I have sold (3) of his cards out of my store in the last week, Gold and Blue 9.5's!

On PhuturePhiies a lot of there poster seem to be getting excited about him. He got some good scouting reports when he pitched in Hawaii. He's supposed to be more mature now too.

- Ryan

that's what I like to hear! And my (12) blue refs, (6) BGS 9.5!

I'm surprised to hear Brown was number one. I'm excited he is, he was fun to watch last year at Lakewood, but I just didn't hear that much talk that would make me think he would be. Good for him! I never really got a chance to pick up much of his stuff. Do you think his cards see a spike now?

Look out for Mike Stutes next year. I hope the kid does well because in Lakewood the guy was a freak. In the short amount of time that he played he raised some eyebrows lol. I also got a crack GU bat signed by Brown, and he too was nice to watch at Lakewood last year.

I'd say an upswing in prices is inevitable because his #1 ranking will be a surprise to most, even to big fans(like myself). There will probably be a small window between now and a little after the list goes live online, atleast that's how it seemed to work with Neftali Feliz and his spike.

Sorry, but in what sane world does Jason Donald and Lou Marson have more potential than Dominic Brown and Michael Taylor?

What are you even basing your list on?

collier and hewitt going to be trade bait?

Hewitt might not make it out of A-Ball, which I hope he does since I have his elite Status Auto.

Adam,
You should know as well as anyone else that these lists aren't based entirely on potential. They are typically a combination on ceiling and likelihood to reach that ceiling. I'd say its very fair to believe that Donald and Marson are more likely to reach their potential than Taylor or Brown. But in my opinion, Brown's ceiling height should have him ranked higher than both.

Collier is right where he needs to be, he's young and only has about 150 at bats. Dominic Brown has a huge upside, not sure I agree with the Daryl Strawberry comparisons...

Maybe a left handed Alex Rios.

It seems the Straw comparisons are largely because of the way he looks, tall, lean, athletic black guy, but the potential is there. Personally, he reminds me of Alex Rios.

Well we actually agree on a comparison.

I have to agree with other's in this thread that it is rather shocking to see D.Brown at #1... I believe C.Carasco has that spot followed by M.Taylor at #2. In the individual categories D.Brown is listed as best for avgerage & while his average is high, I would still have to give the category for best average to M.Taylor. Currently D.Brown's power is non-existent (although he may find his power stroke in the future) & M.Taylor is listed as #1 (& rightfully so) in the power category. Honestly, I'm just glad the prospect (whom last year at this time "wasn't considered a prospect because he was too old") M.Taylor is actually ranked on BA's list because they were in no way rendering him any credit to his abilities because of his bad start in NYP league level...From following M.Taylor, I know that he needs a "transition" period & he's not really a player whom can come out blazing, he needs stability in the lineup (playing everyday & in a somewhat stable order, not jerking him from spot to spot in the order & sitting him every couple of days). When he's in a lineup everyday & in a stable order to bat, he has shown his capabilities. I'm not concerned in the least with his showing in the Hawaii league as they started off doing as I had explained earlier, throwing him in & out of the order/lineup; when he did get stable playing time & at bat's in the order he began to produce as he normally does (which can be seen by his production at the end of the Hawaii league's season, as he was being played day-in & day-out). Just my opinion though & I'm sure others will feel different (I'm positively sure others will differ)! :D
