Yep because the other players were known commodities and needed to make a halladay trade. I am not devastated over what we got for lee.
D'arnaud was underrated and if his bat continues to develop will be a pretty good ML catcher.

Revere would be ridiculously overrated if he was Top 100. He is the epitome of an "empty batting average" and those guys almost never make it in the majors. It's tough to get excited about hitters who post isolated power of .058 in the low minors. That's pretty much non-prospect territory. If you can't even hit that well in the minors theres very little chance you'll hit well in the majors.

I'm also pleasantly surprised they have Brignac at 54.

Ok, here are my observations.
- Very pleased to see my man DJ as high as he is. I sure hope he performs.
- Feliz is Top 5 material in my eyes.
- Parker fell more than I thought he would. I thought he would still crack the Top 20.
- BA is leading the Martin Perez bandwagon. Great ceiling, yes, but I have a hard time buying the Johan comps.
- Wade Davis all the way down at 34? No sale. He's in the 20's easily for me, if not higher.
- After all the hoopla, I'm surprised to see Montgomery as low as he is. Callis called him a potential #1-2 starter.
- Pretty bold of BA to rank Kelly that high. He's got a lot to live up to.
- Of all the omissions I mentioned above, Wil Myers is the biggest shocker to me. Not sure why he didn't rank.
- Storen, a guy who packs bigtime heat and is near ML ready, is all the way down near the bottom?
- I'm a Saunders fan, but I think he's over-ranked here. Naturally Adam will disagree.
- Reckling is another omitted shocker. He deserved a spot.
- Gamel's stock continues to fall. He needs to show off that bat in Milwaukee this year.
- Very pleased to see a certain young Rays' arm ranked. I didn't have him on my Top 100.

Top 10 is just about what I expected, and I'm happy to see Montero right up there (MLB.com's list had him too low IMO)
I also think Parker fell a bit too far considering that if it hadn't been for the surgery, he likely would have been a top 10 guy this year.
The two most surprising no-shows for me were Myers, as JP has mentioned, and Alex Liddi who had one of the best years of any minor leaguer in 2009.
Happy that Logan Morrison made the top 20.
And lastly, everyone I've been buying who I expected to see on the list was, and they all were about where I expected them to fall. The main three I'm talking about are in the 15-40 range, which proves that there are some great value buys available if you buy the right guys at the right time. I'm pumped about the prices I was getting on these guys last season and during the offseason.

There are quite a few "guh?" moments in the list. Michael Saunders is the "GUH, GUH?" moment for me.
There doesn't seem to be any consistency ranking ceiling vs. floor.
