Best/safest way to crack a SGC slab?

I want to crack this out and find out exactly why it got a 4... :?

It got a 4 because someone wrote on it. Best way to crack is with a flat head screwdriver.Use it on the label end and don't try to be an animal with it.

A 4 on a card like that usually screams HAIRLINE CREASE!

Place a heavy hardcover book on top of the slab, leaving only a corner on either side of the label exposed. Put your hand and weight on the book and a pair of vice grips on the exposed corner and break it off. With the corner gone, take a flat-blade screwdriver and work it along the seam. I use this method for all slabs. Quick, clean, and never does any damage to the card.

Just cracked it out with two pairs of pliers and my pocket knife.

Turns out it has a tiny little indentation in the bottom right corner on the back.
