Better career (projected) - Trout vs Lawrie

Mike Trout - he could be a .300, 30, 100, 50 SB, .400 on-base, .500 slugging guy in his prime - basically your prototypical superstar talent if he's healthy.

Dude, can you name any player who has even done that in one season besides Bonds? (Who only did it once)

Some of these predictions make me want to punch little babies.

I think it's laughable that you can predict the future.

Don't get your feelings all hurt because I disagreed with you, he ASKED for an OPINION that involved a prediction of their futures. Good lord

It's funny that Lawrie was billed as being anywhere from a butcher to barely passable at defense. It's only been a month but he has been phenomenal. Putting on a clinic today especially.

I was thinking more along the lines of Eric Davis in his prime though if Trout is all he is cracked up to be - I don't see those lofty numbers being hard to reach on a yearly basis.

Ill go with trout. True five tool talent is tough to find. His speed now is game changing. His defense is already above.avg. if he hits and the power comes thru he can be a superstar. No slight to lawrie he looks legit.
