Oh Canada......
Last I heard Kinsler & Pedroia are well ahead of him in the voting.... yet Hill is having a better season then both.

So he won't start the ASG? that is what makes the ASG a joke sometimes.... I know this also happens to alot of deserving players.

But Hill deserves to start 110%.

Pedroia- .291 2 HR 30 RBI .371 OBP .384 SLG 4 Errors
Kinsler- .272 18 HR 50 RBI .351 OBP .527 SLG 5 Errors
Hill- .308 19 HR 56 RbI .346 OBP .517 SLG 6 Errors

But I hope he gets in the game anyways....

As long as him and Kinsler make it I have no problems, it's a toss up to me with who starts and I could care less, and it's kind of annoying that people get mad that a guy on their team doesn't start, as a Rangers fan I just want Kinsler there and I'm happy.

Yeah that's true I guess.... but either Kins or Hill should start!

As long as both are their I don't care, Pedroia doesn't deserve it at all this year.

The fans vote who are the starters... If fans never hear of him, then they don't vote for him..

Then these "fans" need to get smarter and more into baseball.... not just vote for a player because it says Boston or NY on the jersey.

Not really. Baseball needs to get smarter and not put the fate of a game that decides home field for the WS in the hands of the fans.

If we want hill to be in the allstar game, we need to vote for kinsler. Hill has no chance of being voted in by fans, but if kinsler is voted in, hill will be selected as backup based on stats. If pedroia is voted in, kinsler will most likely get selected as the backup. So vote kinsler!

But it's the All-Star, not the All-Deserving Team.

Happens every year. But I agree with you.

Before today, kinsler was in the lead in ops followed by hill, cano, then pedroia. Hill hit 2 HR's today increasing his ops lead over cano. With hill being the superior defensive 2B, i think he should easily get the 2nd spot behind kinsler.

As a die hard jays fan I see Aaron Hill play everyday and he should deffinetly be the starting 2 bagger or atleast backup. Perdroia should not even be considered neither cano they are not having all star caliber seasons. That being said how about Adam Lind and Scott Rolen being snubbed so far

I agree completely. Either have it as an exhibition game (with no impact on WS) or eliminate fan voting.

Think you're glossing over the fact that Pedroia was the MVP last year. He isn't winning just because he's on the Red Sox.

That's unless he won the MVP because he was on the Red Sox
