Big thank you to Panini!

So I picked up a box of Plates & Patches in a trade and upon opening the box, realized I was shorted some hits. I contacted Panini and last week I was asked for my address. Today, when I got home I saw a Fed Ex package under my door mat. I opened it up and found two cards. One was a Tony Pike RC autograph, which, being in NC, thats not necessarily a bad thing. The other card was an encased card. I slid the Pik off of it and found a very nice Jimmy Clausen RC patch autographed card! 3 colors on the patch. I am very happy and kudos to Panini for making things right!

Are you saying you were shorted the encased hit, or did you trade for a box that had been tamperded with? I had 2 or 3 boxes with just a couple crummy thin autos in the black cardboard box under my even crummier all white Eric Decker encased patch auto. I really gotta start paying attention to the exact amount of hits I should get per box. Panini usually adds more than whats advertised per box so I'm not sure sometimes...

I got an encased hit of Eric Decker. Then I only got a redmeption for a base rookie auto in the box along with a TON of base cards. I thought to myself, "WTF? This is it?" So I watched a few breaks on the tube and saw people were getting something like 4 hits per mini pack not including the encased card. So I felt like I had an issue. Just contacted my contact at Panini and they said that something did seem amiss. So they sent me a couple cards to make up for it.

I was really surprised they sent an encased card. But like I said, I'm not gonna complain. I'm a closet Clausen fan.
