He saw me trolling around looking for trades for 10-11 Certified Platinum Red parallels #/999 and PMed me. He had 2 boxes worth and sent them to me for nothing. I didn't scan them yet, it's 63 cards cut me some slack, but I will over the next day or so.

My scanner really doesn't do these cards justice. They're embossed a little and have that old Pinnacle Sunburst in the background. It's not as bold, but it's just subtle enough to make the cards stand out.

Was able to knock 8 more off the need list, now I'm down to 14 for the set. I made the mistake of buying 2 lots and 11 singles on ebay (including an Ovechkin that ran me 5 bones) not expecting to get any other freebies. The batch I got today had Ovechkin, Crosby, Carter, Pronger, and another Fleury. :lol:
