Birthday and date of death

I happened upon this guy and thought, he got burned twice with his birth/death dates. First, he was born Christmas day. I am guessing any kid with that birthday would tell you it sucks!

Then the poor guy dies on April Fools Day!

That is pretty sad. I was looking in my baseball encyclopedia a while back. I don't recall who the player was. It just said he died in the Atlantic Ocean. It wasn't during the war.

Both Al Moore and Arthur Irwin have their place of death listed as the Atlantic Ocean.

I just saw some where, it said that Moore died of a heart attack on a ship on the Atlantic Ocean while going to Cuba. I wonder if he was buried at sea ?

Jim Fregosi had a stroke while on a cruise ship that would prove to be fatal, but did not die until almost a week later after they got him back to the US.

Only about 30 miles between his birth and death. But 11 summers with the NY Giants.
