So, my friend and I have both have Blue Jays season passes. Basically, we paid $114 each for 1 500 level ticket each, to ALL Jays home games except home opener. Works out to like $1.73 a game. Pretty good deal.
Anyways, on Tuesday, we weren't really planning on going to the game. Just didn't feel like the subway ride downtown. But, my wife was there as well, with a friend of hers she hadn't seen in a while, sitting in the 200 level.
Tuesday home games, are called Tweeting Tuesdays. They have all sorts of contests and giveaways through the Blue Jays official Twitter account.
Just after I got to my seat, I checked Twitter, and the @BlueJays were asking who was there, and where they were sitting, so I replied with my seat location.
Within 5 minutes, a rep from the Jays was behind us. We were going to have our seats upgraded! NICE!
Here is where we ended up. The view from the Rogers private box in the 400 level:
No, thats not where we were sitting. Thats where our friends mom was for the night. We are in there though. This is where we ended up:
How close to the action were we? This close:
Free pop, hot dogs, programs, popcorn, ice cream, peanuts...
Also got these:
Completely insane! That is bucket list stuff right there! For me anyways.
The Lind walk off homer just topped the night off!
