...if there is one...would it be Anderson Silva?

Or is there no comparison because he is too unorthodoxed?

No, I dont think Silva is a good comparison

Bones is very unorthodox, as you said, in his style.

Anderson is called The Spider because he's methodical and is always 2 steps ahead of you when he sinks his teeth in. You think you have control, until your ass is on the mat

Bones is aggression mixed with tactical skills.

To me, he resembles Chuck's striking but with better grappling

Is that right?

The force that he uses with his takedowns/throws reminds me of Karo. He's so good its mind boggling.

Here's a couple videos of KO's

The striking definitely resembles Chuck

But yes, his grappling and technical skills are intense!

A young Alistair Overeem.

I don't think Shogun's going to lose tomorrow. But I DO think that Jon Jones will be the first person to hold the LHW and HW titles in the UFC.

His body won't allow him to stay at LHW I don't believe. He's Uber-esque.

This man needs to go on a horse meat diet, and become Overeem Version 2.0.

Bones is one of the best, young fighters out there, but I hope Shogun beats him down!! It is not his time yet, it will be soon, but not now. Bones reminds me of a young Overheem, but he is better than Allistar was when he was his age, that is for certain, but that is who I think of when I watch him go through his opponents like they r nobodies! Go Shogun!!

There's no comparison. People compare his striking to Liddell but I don't see that.
I completely agree with Sam in that he'll be the first fighter to hold both the LHW and HW belts at the same time.
If Shogun can't figure him out, I don't know who can. He owned Shogun and was the first to KO him.
