Most in the industry have always assumed he'd move from catcher to probably the outfield because a team wouldn't want to hold his bat back while he learns to catch. Kind of old news, but I guess Boras saying it makes it official. This doesn't change anything as far as his draft stock or value goes.

Boras doesn't get a fat pay day until Harper gets hooked up, can't blame him there.

In bigger and older news, Harper wants to remain a catcher. The Nats may say no, but he can push the issue. I mean, if the Red Sox were willing to humor Casey Kelly by letting him play the field, I'd think a team would atleast give Harper a shot to play catcher.

He's made some very suspect moves over the last few years, but his track record is quite impressive.

not a huge boras fan but in this case he is 100% correct.
