From SI:

"Harper is looking at four years of minor league ball if he catches, and perhaps half of that if he plays the outfield. Boras doesn't want him catching. "No baseball person in his right mind will have the guy catch," says Boras, who believes that catching puts a valuable hitter at too great a risk of wear and tear."

Most in the industry have always assumed he'd move from catcher to probably the outfield because a team wouldn't want to hold his bat back while he learns to catch. Kind of old news, but I guess Boras saying it makes it official. This doesn't change anything as far as his draft stock or value goes.

Boras doesn't get a fat pay day until Harper gets hooked up, can't blame him there.

In bigger and older news, Harper wants to remain a catcher. The Nats may say no, but he can push the issue. I mean, if the Red Sox were willing to humor Casey Kelly by letting him play the field, I'd think a team would atleast give Harper a shot to play catcher.

Of course not. He wants to milk the kid for as long as he possibly can. A position change means more cash for BorASS.

I would have to say if I was a big time athlete, Boras would be my agent. He has proven over and over again that he can make things happen and makes his clients very rich while taking his share.

Definitely. To put it simply, he is the best at what he does.

He's made some very suspect moves over the last few years, but his track record is quite impressive.
