There are tons of instances of athletes sticking around one year too long and tarnishing their rep - remember Joe Namath in a Rams uniform? How about Willie Mays in Mets threads? Or how Chuck Liddell lost 5 of his final 7 fights...the list goes on and on
But has there ever been a worse (and hilarious) exit than Brett Favre? Last year, he statistically had his best season and came within a play of reaching the Super Bowl. This season, he had his worst season statistically. He was constantly knocked out of games. His consecutive games streak came to an end. His team finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs. Evidence came out proving not only his he a *********, but he's also a scumbag with the Sterger **** pics. And now, there's a good chance we'll see an "Eff You Brett Favre" Super Bowl, matching his two former teams, the Packers and the Jets.
Seriously, has there ever been a more pathetic exit than this?
