I can't get all excited about Gardner. I mean Chris Dickerson is playing against him tonight and he has more total bases and extra base hits. He will fall flat on his face in NY this year, trust me.

So I would say he is more likely a contact hitter with speed 1 to 1 SO/BB ratio is not bad and .291 is descent and seems to get better. I'm not saying he is gonna be an all star in his first season but give him a chance I think Yankee fans will be surprised.
