Read this story this morning. Good for that young man and great for his teammates. I doubt everyone is happy about having a gay teammate but still, he felt confident enough to be who he is. I'm glad to see this and hopefully more gay players (which I'm sure there are) let people know. I understand when people say they don't wanna hear it or they don't care but I think it gives encouragement to the young men and women to be who they are. If Mike Trout or Bryce Harper said hey I'm gay, then what kid would feel as scared to tell their parents.
