ATLANTA (AP)
NBA referee Bennett Salvatore acknowledged Sunday that he blew a call in the closing minutes of Atlanta's 100-88 victory over the Chicago Bulls, which evened the Eastern Conference semifinal at two games apiece.
rehmus said:the officiating tonight was absolutely mind blowing. i was watching the game with my girlfriend and telling her that regardless of how good the hawks played the bulls would win the game because if the hawks got close there would be questionable calls designed to help the home team (and/or more popular team).
suffice it to say, they didnt disappoint.
i would say this is worse than losing a card game to someone with aces up their sleeves. this is more like losing to someone with aces up their sleeves except youre completely aware they have the aces and there's a code of conduct saying you have to pretend they dont.
for what it's worth, this isnt a dig on the bulls. they played great. truly.

So after a referee admits to fracking up a call which gave an advantage to your team in the previous game, since they lost in this one the refs are obviously colluding with, what, the Bulls? The NBA? Bookies?
Would you like some cheese with that whine?
