Busted a 2011 Topps Update Case... Is this normal?

I'm sorting all the inserts and parallels and realized there are a small chunk of Series 2 Cognacs that i pulled from the case. Just thought it was strange and wondered if anyone else has experienced this? It is only the Cognacs none of the other parallels. I haven't sorted the base yet so i don't know about that.

Yeah, that's supposed to happen. The Cognacs are parallels of Series 1, 2 and Update, but they're only in the Update packs (same with the Hope parallels). What is weird is that yours are all Series 2. I noticed that as well; I barely got any Series 1 Cognacs and I busted a ton of Update.

Thanks, thats what i thought. I havent busted any series 1 or 2 so i wasnt sure. I was all excited thinking i was going to have like 3 cognac update sets. lol oh well.

That explains why some of my Cognacs are "US###" and others are regular numbers.
