Not in the best condition (touched corners), but it's available for trade if anyone has any unique Thomas items available.

No major surface issues, just dust on the scanner bed.

I too, am trying to complete this set.
I am 4 cards short, Brett, Carew, Aaron and Ripken.

Has anyone confirmed that this card doesn't exist?

Hello all! Has anyone ever seen a Cal Ripken Jr. Autograph from 2000 Upper Deck Hitter's club (like the cards in my signature)? I am working on this set, but I'm starting to wonder if this card exists as I have never seen one. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Scott

Love the barrel. One of these days I would love to land a barrel and logo patch.

Made an individual thread but figured I would post this here as well:

The night of the big FCB code search I was fortunate to find a code in the early moments and get it entered faster than anyone else. It was the only code I landed but then again I had a busy day during the event. As of last week the item was yet to arrive but I was not that concerned. It was a great card but something that was likely hitting the auction block when the right time came. cgilmo offered my a PayPal transaction that was transformed to the following. It is an original wire photo of Cal Ripken, Jr., from his time with the AA Charlotte O's. This picture was taken a little over 2 months before Cal turned 20. Charlotte would go on to win the Southern League Championship. The photo was watermarked for the auction scan and will not have the "Chicago Tribune" stamp on the actual photo. It comes directly from the Tribune.

Wow - that's a nice piece of memorabilia. Glad it goes to the better third of the bunch (I think of us (myself, Russ and RITM) as a Ripken collector pie!) :D

Oh boys.
I think if we put our 3 collections together, BIGALBERT still is the big dog. IMHO.

I'm in awe of every ones collections, but I think I'm a small fish. Thanks for thinking of me though.
Congrats again on the amazing card Bobby.

I am the one, if any, that should be removed. I think I have maybe 5-10 MLB cards of Cal.

But those MiLB cards out trumps MY MLB cards.
I don't even own a MiLB Cal yet.

There might be a pretty gigantic Ripken minor league auction coming soon. Not 100% it is going to happen but a big time Ripken collector has apparently agreed to consign his collection. There have been several 1981 auctions over the past few weeks. Still watching for that elusive "Pepper Girls" card to show up. I can't put in words how much I would love to complete that Charlotte Police set.

My first Ripken pickup of 2011. Never thought I'd get the chance at owning it again after selling it the first time. Wasn't listed an hour before I hashed out a deal with the seller.

Unreal. Let me re-evaluate my earlier comments.

I would like to own a barrel, MLB logo patch or that card.

Im wondering why a card like this would sit around without being bought?

Has the Ripken auto market completely crashed? I thought the whole state of MD held him in Godlike status... ::facepalm::
Because it is overpriced.
That set has many parallels and the same card that is lowered serial numbered sells for that amount. Why buy a /350 for $56, when you can get a /199 for $51?
