Card Store Robbery Caught On video

Around 7 a.m. on September 13, a man got inside Lake City Card Exchange and stole about $30,000 worth of vintage sports cards. Although calls to police didn't turn up a report, let alone a list of specifically what's missing. Nearly seven weeks have passed since the burglary and no suspect has been arrested.

A day after this occurred (and not knowing about this), I went into this shop asking if they had any vintage Mays cards. The owner's wife was working while her husband was in the back and she went back to have him come and help me. I was trying to figure out why they were acting so awkward and suspicious, but after buying a few packs of A&G, they told me about what happened. Strange timing on my part.

Seems the thief didn't think newer stuff was worth the effort...maybe because they're more easily tracked, or maybe because he thinks it worthless

That just sucks!!!
But it is strange that he would have video surveillance but no alarm system?
20 minutes in the shop and a silent alarm would have caught the guy.
You would think they could find him with that clear picture of the unsub (yeah I watch too many tv crime shows!)

This is one thing that worries me about opening a store,
so I would have video surveillance & alarm system, with streaming video to my house computer and phone

You still thinking of opening a store? How about setting up a show again in the area? I use to go to the one in Rockledge.
