Cards you sold for WAY more than they should have sold for

I can beat you all, top this:

$405 for a BGS 9 (Yes, a 9) 2002 BCDP Brian Dopirak Xfractor

I believe it was late 2003 or very early 2004 when I listed it, right after he had that monster season.
I was hoping to get like $100 or less and the last few minutes it jumped and jumped and jumped and jumped.

Another one. I dont remember the exact numbers but when Kemp first got hot, I listed my blue ref auto. I got a good price for it, Im thinking like 200 or so and a few days later I listed a reg BC auto and for some insane reason, it got MORE than the blue ref.

One more. On the BMB a few years back, someone posted there was a 2001 TT bat card of Ed Rogers (I believe that was the guy) that was at an insane, beyond belief bid (like over $100) because it was a card which never shows up for sale.

I saw the post and put mine up for a BIN of like $100 and it sold asap. Card books $6.

Ok, last one. When Reggie Willits got hot, his best card was 02 PP jersey which booked $8. I got over $50 for it which at the time was more than a Francoeur PP jersey (he was really good then)

$405 for an unsigned X-fractor?!

At the time, it was the only 9 with non graded higher. I made it known really clearly that fact.

I remember him getting hot. I just didn't realize his cards got that high.

Sold the 2005 BDP Red 1/1 of Mike Costanzo for $400. The buyer insinuated afterwards that he thought he was buying the Red Refractor and tried to file a claim with paypal, but he lost.

I remember sitting on the plane heading to Hawaii in February of that year reading BBA issue with him on the cover when I turned to my Wife and told her that Brian paid for her airline ticket.

I cant believe I got $50 for an in person autograph. Paid in full and even got great feedback from the buyer.

05-06 Artifacts Guy LaFleur /25 parallel (no GU, no auto) - $127.50; ah, the pleasures of two ridiculous snipes hitting at once.

05-06 Black Diamond Brandon Bochenski RC 1/1 - $400; and that was off eBay, so no fees. Not sure if he's even in the league anymore.
