This card is absolutely beautiful! I bought it thinking that it was a sticker auto but I was pleasantly surprised to see it be on card.

This card also mentions in last line the reason why I started to collect him. "He also earned Playoff MVP honors during Cincinnati's 2008 ECHL Championship"

Wow, over 45+ days since my last update. What change from my Chavez collection. I was very excited to see this one finally pop up. To pass the time I have been buying up as many Dominion Autos I can get for cheap. Will post additional scans in coming days.

I was able to track down a ticket from Desjardins' first win in the NHL. The autograph was obtained thanks to a member of the Lake Eerie Monsters (Where he currently leading the AHL in almost every category) message boards who offered to get the ticket autographed for me for nothing. The autograph looks great. I had asked if he could inscribe "1st NHL Win" but instead he instructed him to sign it "To Chad" either way I think it still looks great. I enjoy the background of the ticket as well. No one appears to be looking at the same point and the player in the penalty box almost appears photoshopped to appear perfectly between the players.

Total Cost: $9 for the ticket, $3 postage back and forth, and $10 that I sent as a "Thank you" along with the ticket. The ticket was signed at a charity event and the member who had it signed for me donated the $10 at the event. Overall a great experience and a nice piece to be able to add to my collection.

I was able to land his only nonplate 1/1 Rookie Autograph this week. I was able to make a deal off ebay which I think was very fair. Hopefully he will get the call next year. This and his AHL Logo card are by far his two most premium cards. I have never seen the Logo card but getting this one feel very sweet. It doesn't quite pop as much as the Golds or even the Silvers but I think the rainbow looks pretty good.
