C'mon. You and I both know it's not that simple.
Past 24 hrs I started three threads that I'm guessing have generated 75+ total responses and 1000+ views and have nothing to show for it. Idk what the thresholds are but its not pretty simple.
It is in fact that simple.
The system looks for ratings and page counts. Also posts within a time threshold are important

Was thinking the same thing.Check out the rewards thread.Not many have built up points, unless you post 24/7 probably not going to accumulate much.
According to the system reports he's at like .54
I mean that's pretty good for the level of involvement. Yes people on here 24/7 will earn more. Thats just how it is.
I can't post the exact formula. Its relatively easy to game.
Does that .54 reset to .00 on January 1st?

Like others, I save a whole lot more from free listings and 20% off FVF than I do with Ebay Bucks. I actually know a few people that aren't signed up for Ebay Bucks and spend quite a lot. There's no invite or option to sign up anywhere on their accounts.

I would like to point out how just completely off base you are here though. Your complaint is man I've been slaving away on this site all day and got nothing to show for it.
Maybe this program just isn't up to your standards. Sorry, I can't help but come off like a ******* here.
I was just pointing out that you keep stating "its that simple", but it just did not appear to be as claimed.
I do not intend on earning many bucks regardless, I've been here for quite some time yet only average a tad over 1 post a day. If I didn't have the flu I probably wouldn't be as active as I've been the past few days.
It's a great program and you should be commended for even offering something like this.
I was merely trying to understand the system a bit more.

It has simple instruction - start threads, drive participation, be active, add value, etc.
It is not simple to back into how you actually earn the bucks - as cglimo said, he can't tell us because it's easy to "game"

Saw this. Decided to post it in here because it's more relevant for this thread...
Anyone who is pissed off about the eBay bucks system changing will be just as pissed off about this promotion because if you don't spend $250 over the course of three months on eBay to get your $5 eBay bucks cert., how are you going to all the sudden today pony-up $150 (which is the minimum purchase) and take advantage of this promotion? I could care less because IMO it's a timing thing whether you can take advantage of it but I can see a lot of people misreading it and thinking anything they buy today gets them quad eBay bucks... which it's my understanding, it won't!

What am I missing in that thread? Why won't you get quad bucks for qualifying purchases within the qualifying time, which is today only.

It's also a minimum purchase of $150... so you have to (1) purchase today (2) use PayPal (3) be in a qualifying category and (4) be a minimum purchase of $150
Not as easy as "Anything you buy on eBay today is quad eBay bucks"
