Not really much more to say about this amazing experience. I agree with the others above that say this may be the greatest thread ever posted. I just wanted to reply to be a part of it!

If Gwynn was still alive, this is exactly how I picture a visit with him and Alicia would go, but throw in some barbecue ribs in there as well! I never disliked Canseco before, but I exponentially like him even more after reading this!

Wow! I am speechless. I always comment on your threads due to they great story telling, entertaining, and amazing customs you manage to pull.
I've met the players that I collect so I know the amazing feeling, but they are in no way the stars that Canseco is. And you managed to get into his kitchen and get cupcakes, haha.

Jose will be coming to my card shop in a few weeks in New Jersey. I may take off that day. I met him at a show before and he signed a couple auto's for me after I couldn't decide which card I wanted him to sign back in 1988. I was 13 at the time. This was a terrific read. I felt like I was there reading this!
