Fans forget that Davis almost hit .300 in MLB last year with 17 homeruns in a third of the season. Yes, Davis had a terrible first half of the season but proved in AAA that he is ready to come back. Davis can play 3B 1B and RF.
I thought Smoak was a bad pick and still do. Personally I think Smoak's fate is to become trade bait to acquire pitching help.
