Is there any chance he gets a September call-up? He is now pitching in relief for triple a charlotte and did very well in his first star. Let me know.

Since he's not on the 40-man, I'd doubt it unless they have an open spot...but chances are, it's not worth removing someone from the 40-man to bring up a rookie in his first year. No need to rush him.

Pretty sure the Sox stated plan was to have him in the bigs in a relief role this season and give him a shot at the rotation next season. I believe that's a big reason a player of his caliber signed so quickly and for a pretty low bonus.

That would make a lot of sense considering he'll make back the bonus in Major League salary over the next two seasons if this is indeed the case. Wonder why more players don't bite the bullet and try to EARN their money?

what is the EARNING their money, its not supposed to be just handed to them for a wing and a prayer
