Why don't you get off your high horse...........The stabbing was a couple of guys..........not the entire stadium, and it was in the parking lot and didn't have anything to do with a game, so get that straight. And LA didn't deserve to make the play in game, they were 10 games over .500.

Which high horse? I'm in no way putting myself above anything, so I'm not sure what you are referring to.

By your definition, all Braves fans are losers because of what 200-300 fans did. I'd say that is just as unfair to talk XXXX about all Braves fans as it is for me to talk XXXX about all Dodgers fans. I know why the incident occurred, and it started because of the game so how about you get it straight?

Also, if you say the Dodgers dont deserve to be in the play-in game, what about the Cardinals? They won only 2 more games than the Dodgers did this year.

Did I say I know everything Justin...No, so don't call me an ass. But I was in college when you were still sitting in pre-K making macaroni necklaces, so i think I've see a few more b-ball games in my life. I am saying 1 game to get into the real playoffs is what this game was....just like if it was a tie between 2 teams. This is the dumbest idea Butt Selig has come up with yet. And there is NEVER a time that calls for a fan/fans to interfere in the game by throwing stuff on the field. Buying a ticket to the game gives you the right to cheer and boo, but not act like a *******.

I agree with this 100%. You play 162 games to get to the postseason, not tie for a spot, you should have at least the best of 3 or 5 to advance.

You cant tell me you wouldnt have done the same thing.
Maybe you would have done the same thing, but fans who aren't neanderthals would not. The whole incident is a black eye for Braves fans collectively, but any reasonable person knows that it was only a small percentage of drunken ******** who threw debris on the field.

It's funny you want to talk about how classless Braves fans are, yet YOU Dodgers fans almost beat a man to death. Talk about classless.
Stereotype much? Two criminals nearly beat Brian Stow to death. They were not Dodger fans, they were criminals. Every team has them. Again, no reasonable person believes any team's fan base is truly represented by these thugs.

Neanderthals? Please, spare me your holier than thou ways.

Exactly. A black eye for Braves fans. Just like the Stow beating is a black eye for Dodgers fans. It's funny how you want to talk about me stereotyping. Maybe you should look in the mirror.

Thing is, people arent reasonable or rational when it comes to sports, so get used to it.

The rule book says the play was called correctly but I think it needs to be changed some what!

Don't forget the late timeout called when Lohse was in his windup! Umpire blew that by the rule in the rule book!

But the Braves beat them selves with 3 errors & running 3 feet inside the baseline! Simmons cost the Braves more then anybody!

Yes I'm a Cardinals fan, start trashing me now!

Braves fans (but not all Braves fans) had no respect for Chipper to allow him to have a curtain call at the end of the game!

Yea, this may be a stretch, but I'm guessing that's not how Chipper envisioned things happening ........

Chippers last game will be remembered by the blown call and his throwing error. The fans throwing trash on the field was a by product of XXXXty umpiring and frustration. You cant tell me you wouldnt have done the same thing.

As to the infield fly rule, you need to look it up. The ball was 80 feet into left field, not exactly a catch that required "ordinary effort".

Why do you keep harping about this is not a playoff game? Nobody said it was, quit making yourself look like an ass like you know everything. The Braves and the fans knew what the ramifications of this game were...

Edit: Here's a tweet from the WSBtv sports reporter after the game: https://twitter.com/ZachKleinWSB/status/254417415679651840/photo/1

It seems that the White Sox have the highest percentage of criminals. In the few times I've gone to US Cellular to see games.. I've seen police with guns drawn on some guy lying on the ground right outside the stadium, a woman getting beaten up by her bf/husband or some random guy not sure by the concessions and lets not even bring up the two clowns that ran out onto the field and beat up that Royals coach.

It would have happened and has happened everywhere.

Indeed, it takes all kinds of scumbags to go to games.. I've seen brawls first hand at Cubs/Sox games.. plenty of youtube vids of Yankees and Red Sox fans fighting or Yankees and Mets games. You could even carry that over to fans running out onto the field at any stadium.. how about other sports.. the Brett Favre incident or the huge ice ball fight in NYC.. or the Ron Artest Palace incident....

Alcohol is a helluva drug.

I actually pulled a comment before I posted it because I've seen it before in Minnesota too. Was involving Chuck Knoblauch when he came back as a member of the yankees. They actually made an announcement stating the game would be forfeited if the fans didn't stop.

It's unfortunate when it happens, especially on such a large stage like last night, but it does happen.
