It could be he got lazy and simply half ass'd some of them, it would be the first time an athlete signing sticker auto's and there are different looking one's. Michael Burgess has a few different versions of his auto's on his 07 sterlings

I'll give you that athletes can get lazy...but all of his IP autos look uniform...

My kid sister is the one who got the auto ball for me. She said that he seemed like a real jerk when he came over to sign the ball for her. She said "hi" and "thanks so much for coming over here", but she said that he never even looked at her and sighed after he signed it and walked off.

If he acts like that all the time, I don't see why he wouldn't say "Cory! Sign these stupid cards for me, I'm busy with stuff"

I respect your story. But, I can't say anything negative about his IP signing habits.

I told him that if he could sign 1 or 2, that would be great...he signed every card I had. But he didn't say a word. Not saying he is a jerk, that is just my personal experience.

I'm not saying that Colby's a jerk, I wasn't even at the ballpark that day, my sister was on her field trip and I had her get it for me. She may have been exaggerating the experience or maybe he was having a bad day (we all have those).

It wouldn't be fair for me to say that about him without me ever meeting him and my sister only meeting him once.

Right now, I'm only worried about what his autograph looks like...oh, and bringing the Niko Superfractor and Sterling Red refractor home to Springfield, MO .

You live in Springfield? I come out there about 2 times a year normally. I know that Jeff sold the shop, how is it now? Is the guy any good?

True, the ball I have looks like the ip ones everyone else has, but all his 05 chromes and 05 sterling autos look the same as well as some of the 07 sterling which are probably left over stickers from 05 they used until they were gone, and he might have just changed his auto a bit when he started to sign ip, and the again, Cory could have signed them all :lol:

Check out the 07 Sterlings...this isn't just about comparing 05 BC's to IP's...the 07 Sterlings look like the IP auto's.

Most people stopped sending to the Rasmus's due to Kasey Rasmus actually answering mail and speaking on behalf of Colby on message boards. There are now 4 Rasmus playing ball: Corey, Colby, Case, and Cyle. Cyle should be the next drafted has a second basemen. Case went undrafted this year and plays for Okaloosa in Northwest Florida with Daniel Webb.

I honestly do think I can see the similarities.

Notice how the big R is double marked on the left leg?

Notice how the little O after the big C starts to move to the next letter in the lower right part of the O?

Notice how the little Y at the end of "Colby" has a similar end to it?

The similarities are subtle, but they are there.
