Goals for 2012:

Once I graduate from college and get a job, get back into the collecting game.

These are the acquisitions I am hoping for:

t206 Cy Young "bare hand"
t206 Ty Cobb "bat off shoulder"
1911 T3 Ty Cobb Turkey Red Checklist
1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig
Some 1800's bats

Being a collector that has a really difficult time Focusing, i decided that in 2012 i will set my sights on these Registries:

Post War HOF Rookie Set

George Brett Master Set
Mike Schmidt Master Set
Dwight Gooden Master Set
Keith Hernandez Master Set
Gary Carter Master Set
Graig Nettles Master Set
Thurman Munson Master Set

i picked the "Master Sets" mainly because of the bias against O-Pee-Chee, but also because i feel it will keep me more Focused in the long run.

My Post War HOF RC Set is coming along nicely, im down to 10 with the 48 Leaf SPs being the "big ones" still needed

i also want to post some "write ups" on my player pages. i really enjoy what other set collectors have to write on their individual player and/or Set pages.
Sadly there dont seem to be that many people that bother/desire to post write ups.

Sell some of my non-Schilling/Ortiz Red Sox PC
Less impulse buys on eBay
And win a certain item that just surfaced for the first time in at least a year

2012 goals..hmm!

1-Absolutely rake in autographs at spring training,hopefully adding Harper,Strasburg,Heyward,and MANY others to my IP auto ball collection.

2-Pick up my first 1/1 Griffey,cant be a printing plate,or american hero.

3-Get 5 vintage Mantles.

4-PULL a Gypsy Queen Griffey auto!

Finish my TNA ECW gold base set, as well as the double, triple and quad autos.

Larry Walker Goals

To own a Expos and Cardinals bats to go with the rockies bats that I currently have.

To be a little more controlled on ebay and not to impulse buy when I see a card I really want.

Finish my 1968 Tigers Graded Set ( No cards graded under a 7)

To get a nice Norm Cash auto cut or photo

and lastly

To obtain a Ty Cobb auto to complete my all time tigers poster and frame it. I have worked on this dang thing for 7 years and I want it done.
