I think it would make a lot of sense for Drew to go to Detroit. Reason being? They traded for Iglesias because of his glove, and Drew has the best glove out of any SS they would be able to get. I don't think Detroit has any internal options, so they have to sign a FA or trade. Nick Franklin has been rumored, but I doubt he has the glove to play SS for a whole year...second base sure, but not SS. Detroit doesn't want to have to give up the draft pick, but if they want to try to win it all this year they can not leave a hole at short stop.

Boras may have lucked out on this one, because I was going to bet money that Drew wasn't going to sign until well into the season.

Maybe the Cubs will trade Castro for one of the Tigers front line pitchers. It makes sense now, open up the position for Baez. He's ready.
