Thank goodness the 200 SO's are out of NY. Was never a fan of Granderson while he was with the Yanks.
Jason Bay round 2?
technically you're right. Nice catchWell, technically, they aren't put of NY...![]()
Really was hoping the Red Sox wouldn't pursue him any further, he doesn't seem like a good fit for the team. With that said, he usually played well against the Sox so it's nice he is out of the AL East.Thank goodness the 200 SO's are out of NY. Was never a fan of Granderson while he was with the Yanks.
Second round pick, I believe...Do the mets give up a draft pick for this signing. I think their first round (10) is protected but do they give up another??

Good to see some of the lower payroll teams actually spending money this offseason. Definitely good for baseball IMO.
I was very surprised to see he got a 4 year deal, especially with that AAV, but when I saw it was the Mets that signed him I was less surprised, lol. He is an all of nothing hitter but they are paying him hoping he can hit 30+ home runs, as it's not easy to get a power bat on the FA market. Not a great signing but it hope it works out okay for them.
I always think about this player when you talk about Citi Field, E:i like the signing. the guy is a good baseball player. could leg out some doubles in Sh1ttty Field.
