Do you believe or know that this card was signed originally like that? My first assumption would be that it was modified. That is a pretty busy card, but if the guy knew you and the shop and wanted to make something unique, not much UD could do, but toss the card if they didn't like it going into a pack like that.

I still wish that I would have saved the scan of that Jared Wells Topps/Bowman card that had a little something extra drawn on to the signature sticker. Someone shared it on the Topps board many years back and I believe claimed they pulled it from a pack. Who knows for sure if it was added later or not, but it was definitely in the class of the 89 Billy Ripken Fleer card.

I bet Rasner re-signed it. The 2007 ball set was on plastic. Nearly every card like that signed with a ballpoint pen you pull is now faded, regardless of it hitting sunlight. Seeing a few posted on ebay I bet this was redone and had the inscriptions added:

My customer wrote all that stuff on there and apparently traced the auto.

I like it better this way :)
