I attended the event as well. I was lucky enough to sit at the same table as David and have some very good conversations with him. It was a very nice event.

Did you know before hand you would be with Freese or was it random ?

I found out on the way there. The company my dad works for was the major sponsor of the event.

Here is a good shot of my dad, Lance Johnson, and me. My dad has been friends with 1 Dog since his playing days at South. He hooked us up with tickets in Chicago a couple of times when we went up there.

what does lance have against his 1988D card?

I was told it may have something to with it being his only card picturing him in a Cardinals uniform.

He was also in a Cards jersey in '88 Fleer.

I love Freese, but he comes off as a ******* in literally every interview I've ever seen.
