Decker is probably tweet-bitching because he didn't the attention and fawning he thought the gesture would garner. Rules are rules: don't go to your knee. It's a pretty cut-and-dry rule. He can make it about "preventing me from honoring the troops" or whatever garbage he wants, but the fact of the matter is, it's against clearly established rules.

Also, why even try? Unless you're Pat Tillman, every gesture will seem meek in comparison. I guess if you're a Chris Gizzi-type, or David Robinson, it makes a little more sense, but even still.

Stick to football Decker; leave the drama out of it.
