2005 Leaf Certified Materials. I have some pretty swell ones here, but only half the parallels in total. Below are the Mirror White /5, Mirror Gold /25 and Mirror Black /1. Missing a trio of /5 cards: Mirror Red, Mirror Blue, and Mirror Emerald. Hopefully I can chip away at those over the years. I like this set and would love to complete it!
Resized_20210828_192733.jpeg

2005 Leaf Limited. I did pretty good here. I have all the non 1/1 cards AND two 1/1 cards as well! Still, there are three additional 1/1's out there. Lets start with the basic run: Monikers Bronze /50, Monikers Silver /25, Monikers Gold /25, and Monikers Platinum /1. The two below that are the more common Moniker Materials cards. A Bat Bronze /50 and a Jersey Numbers Silver /75. The Moniker Materials 1/1's consist of a Bat Platinum, Jersey Prime Platinum, Jersey Number Prime Platinum, and the one I happen to have pictured last, a Button Platinum. Like this set too, guess I am a sucker for Leaf products!

A quick look at 2005 National Pastime. Wright is in the Signature Swings set. I have them all here, except the 1/1. So, Signature Swings; Silver unnumbered, Gold /199, Bat Red /99, Jersey White /29, Patch Blue /5 are pictured below. Logo Masterpiece is the 1/1.

Thank man, I appreciate that. I don't think I told you, I was hit hard during that storm a few days ago in the north east. My basement had a foot of sewage backup AND our sump pump failed. Total crap show down there. We lost a bunch of stuff :( Anyway, that's been taking up a good portion of my time, every day. I will get back to posting soon enough.
Cheers, Mark

Finally, I think I am in a good place to start this thread up again. Things were so rough with that storm a few weeks back and it has been mayhem over here for a while afterwards. But I am happy to get back to posting my stuff again!

So I'll jump right back in I suppose.....2005 Origins. Wright is featured in two auto sets; Signatures and Old Judge Autographs. I have both the base versions, pictured below. I am missing the Bronze Border parallels of each of these, serial numbered /5. I don't think I've even seen them pop up yet.
Resized_20210831_164211.jpeg

2005 Playoff Prestige. Despite there being more colors than Purple and Black in the base card Xtra Bases parallels, they only did Signature Xtra Bases in Purple and Black. Have them both below, Purple being /10 and Black being /5.
Resized_20210831_164224.jpeg

2005 Prime Cuts. I'm way behind on this set, although granted the cards I need are numbered /10 or less. Anyhow, There are three Signature Century cards; Silver /5 (pictured below), Gold /5 and Platinum /1. In addition to that, there are a handful of Signature Material cards; Jersey Number /5, Jersey Number Prime, which is oddly numbered /10, Combo, which is apparently a jersey and bat, /1 and last, a Combo Prime /1. So I got a ways to go here, but at least I have one to represent :)

2005 Prime Patches. I'll start with just the Autographs subset. The picture below is the only card, with a non-numbered print run of /47.
Resized_20210831_164252.jpeg

The other subset that Wright appeared in was Next Generation. There are five of those (I have four of them, the missing one being a 1/1). From top to bottom; Next Generation Autograph unnumbered print run of /1 (yes, this basic and rather boring card is a 1/1), Next Generation Autograph Bat /150, Next Generation Autograph Jersey /125, Next Generation Autograph Patch /7. The one I am missing is a Next Generation Autograph Bat Knob /1. Would be cool to grab it, but not counting on it.

Tonight I'm going to tackle the pretty expansive 2005 Reflections autographs. There are quite a few, most of them from the bunches of Dual Signatures.

First, the Fabric Auto-Patch card, numbered /50.
Resized_20211002_112404.jpeg

Next we'll do the Dual Signature cards. Wright is featured along side eight other players. For each dual, there is a base version, a Red /99, a Blue /35 and a Platinum /1. Just excluding the Platinums, there are 24 cards. I am lucky enough to have at least one Wright from each of the eight other players he is featured with, but I definitely don't have them all (and I have none of the Platinums).

With Adrian Beltre; Red /99, Blue /35. Missing base with a unnumbered print run of /75.
Resized_20211002_112427.jpeg

With Dallas McPherson; base unnumbered print run of /199, Red /99, Blue /35.
Resized_20211002_112449.jpeg

With Justin Leone; base unnumbered no print run stated, Red /99, Blue /35.
Resized_20211002_112516.jpeg

With Keith Hernandez; Red /99. Missing base with a unnumbered print run of /75 and Blue /35.
Resized_20211002_112534.jpeg

With Kevin Youkilis; base unnumbered no print run stated, Red /99, Blue /35.
Resized_20211002_112550.jpeg

With Mike Schmidt; Red /99, Blue /35. Missing base with a unnumbered print run of /75.
Resized_20211002_112608.jpeg

With Scott Rolen; base unnumbered print run of /75, Red /99, Blue /35.
Resized_20211002_112624.jpeg

With Jose Reyes; Red /99, Blue /35. Missing base with a unnumbered print run of /75.
Resized_20211002_112643.jpeg

Last subset Wright is in would be the Cut From the Same Cloth Dual Patch Autos. There are four, each of which is serial numbered /25. One with Dallas McPherson, one with B.J. Upton, one with Scott Rolen, and one with Hank Blalock.

2005 Skybox Autographics and their Future Signs Autographs. There are seven cards in total, six of which I have. Exclusive to retail packs were the Future Signs Blue cards and the print runs of the couple players included varies. Wright's is not numbered, but has a print run of /8.
Resized_20211003_171209.jpeg

The remaining six follow this structure; Silver /100, Silver Embossed /85, Gold /65, Gold Embossed /45, Platinum /25, and Platinum Embossed /5. I am missing the last one.

Resized_20211003_171326.jpeg
Resized_20211003_171338.jpeg

You would think the Platinum would have some sort of shiny foil, to differentiate it from the Silver, but it pretty much looks the same, except the serial numbering on the back. Below is also a close up of the embossment......it's kinda hard to see in the photos.

Going to take on the SP cards tonight!

Starting with 2005 SP Authentic. Got the basics here from the Signature subset; base /350 and Gold /10. Also have the only Signature Jersey card /10.
Resized_20211003_171528.jpeg
Resized_20211003_171610.jpeg

Now I get to show off how, despite having a nice number of Wright cards, I still have a LOOOOOOONG ways to go to get 'em all! Wright also appeared in the Honors insert set. While I have the base insert, the jersey insert, I am missing the autograph. That would be the Honors Signature /5.

He also appeared in the Chirography set, here below as a single autograph /15. The signature isn't the best, but it looks better in person than it does in this photo. Guess you gotta take what you can get with a low numbered card! Now, I have NONE of the Chirography Triples, granted, they are all numbered /5. Wright is featured with; Arimis Ramirez & Scott Rolen, Mike Schmidt & Scott Rolen, Mark Teixeira & Miguel Cabrera.
Resized_20211003_171636.jpeg

I am fortunate just to have ONE card from 2005 SPx. Wright has an auto in the SPXtreme Stats Signatures, numbered /5, which I am missing. He also has one in the Superscripts Triples, with Dallas McPherson and Mark Teahen, also numbered /5. Missing that one as well.

I can at least show off one of the three Winning Materials Dual Jersey Signature cards. Below is the one with Jose Reyes /5. Missing the other two; one with Dallas McPherson /5 and the other with Mark Teahen /5.
Resized_20211003_171657.jpeg

Good grief, I have a lot of work to do here with pretty darned low serial numbered cards. This will take a while....

Also, I tried taking the photos here with the flash on. Think they came out ok. We'll see if I continue the trend.

2005 Sweet Spot is a big one! All......checks notes.....all 32 of them are from the Signatures subset. You've seen them before; autos on ball swatches, bat swatches, glove swatches, etc.

There is a method to this madness though. Starting with the Ball swatches with Red stitching. David appears on three singles and three duals. For the singles, we have; Black Ink /350, Blue Ink /135, and Red Ink /35. I have those pictured below. For the duals, there is one with Adrian Beltre, one with Miguel Cabrera (pictured below), and one with Jose Reyes.....all of which are serial numbered /25. Missing the Beltre and Reyes cards. These are tough, and not necessarily because of the low print runs. Sometimes the one player's auto is so squished onto the side, I wind up passing on it when it shows up for sale. The dual below is actually a decent one, believe it or not.
Resized_20211003_233044.jpeg
Resized_20211003_233118.jpeg

Next would be Ball swatches with Red and Blue stitching. Again, three singles and three duals. Singles; Black Ink /50, Blue Ink /30, Red Ink /10. Same duals with the same crew, only numbered to /15. I only have Wright with Cabrera again.
Resized_20211003_233158.jpeg
Resized_20211003_233231.jpeg

Technically next are the Ball swatches with Black stitching. Same gig; a Black Ink, a Blue Ink, and a Red Ink.....all 1/1's. Same three duals with the same players, also all 1/1's. I have none.

Onto a new material. Bat Barrels. Three singles, three duals. Black Ink /50, Blue Ink /30, Red Ink /10. The three duals are all numbered /15 and feature the same three additional players. I have the Beltre and the Cabrera this time. Much better design to have them above and below, in my opinion.
Resized_20211003_233258.jpeg
Resized_20211003_233336.jpeg

Another new material, Leather "glove" this time. Again, three singles, three duals. Singles are Black Ink /30, Blue Ink /10, Red Ink /5. Don't have any of those, never even seen one honestly. Same three duals with the same guys, all /10. I have the Cabrera again for some reason, haha!
Resized_20211003_233409.jpeg

Finally, there also exists an autographed game used ball swatch, which is a 1/1 as well as a autographed game used bat barrel, numbered /10. I think someone on this forum actually has that last card. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to grab a copy some day.

2005 Throwback Threads. The only auto is the Signature Marks, and it is numbered /25.
Resized_20211005_192325.jpeg

2005 Timeless Treasures. From the Signature subset, the only one Wright is featured in. There is a Bronze /25, Silver /10......both pictured below. Missing the Gold /5, and I suppose the Platinum /1.

Last bunch of Topps branded stuff tonight.

2005 Topps. Wright appears in the Autographs subset. Just a very basic card and auto. I know it's a cheap one, but I really do like this one. Not sure why it doesn't get much love on ebay.....maybe because it is fairly common. But it's an on-card auto and really a clean looking card. Ehh, I like it!
Resized_20211005_192411.jpeg

2005 Cracker Jack. One from the Autographs subset (first photo), which is numbered /50, and a surprisingly difficult card to find. The second is from the Secret Surprise Mini Autographs, unnumbered and easier to find (second photo). Both are on-card and minis.
Resized_20211005_192457.jpeg
Resized_20211005_192511.jpeg

2005 Topps Pristine. Wright is in their Personal Endorsements subset. There is the base pictured below, numbered /247. There is also an uncirculated Refractor as well, which is numbered /3. I do recall seeing one a looooooong time ago, when I wasn't as knowledgeable about Wright cards. I passed on it, as I didn't know what it was. Oops!
Resized_20211005_192546.jpeg

2005 Topps Total. Another cheap one that I REALLY like! For whatever reason, it is aesthetically pleasing and also an on-card auto. From their Total Signatures subset, unnumbered and fairly common.

Last few before I start Ultimate Collection, which is a hefty set.

2005 UD Portraits. There are four autographs in the entire set. First one appears technically as a parallel of the base card. It would be the Memorabilia Parallel Platinum Auto numbered /10. The other parallels are game used cards I went over a while back. The second one is from the Scrapbook Signatures subset and it's numbered /20. The third and fourth are jumbo cards. I have them both, but I couldn't dig them out tonight. I'll try to post them before I move on. Both are from Signature Portraits. One is a single auto, unnumbered. The other a dual with Jose Reyes /99.
Resized_20211005_192632.jpeg
Resized_20211005_192651.jpeg

2005 UD Pros Sigs. A pretty basic set without a lot of bells and whistles. Wright is in the Signature Sensations subset. There's a base unnumbered, a Silver numbered /50 and a Gold numbered /5, which I don't have yet.

Jumbo cards are cool in theory, but they are so annoying to store since you have to separate them out from everything else. I have a couple of shoeboxes with random A's jumbo cards, postcards, coins, pogs, those stupid Topps Chipz, etc all randomly tossed in there.

I do like that they can put the bigger signatures on those though, pretty sweet.

Ha! I will admit, the Wright ones are a pain to store, because there are only a few of them. My McGwire collection had MANY, so keeping them all in a binder, in various sized pockets was not too bad. Just had to remember to take the binder out to look at them occasionally. And agreed on the signatures, they look great....a bit more natural because you don't have to squeeze it on a sticker or small window.

I got out before the release of the Chipz, luckily, that never affected my collecting years!

Time to move on to 2005 Ultimate Collection. There are quite a few....but, honestly, after looking at my checklist, I did alright so far.

From Signatures, of which there are two. The base is numbered /69, and for some reason, I never obtained a copy yet. Strange, considering I have the Platinum parallel to /5. Pictured below.
Resized_20211010_182206.jpeg

From Baseball Stars Signatures, there is just this one, numbered /15.
Resized_20211010_182240.jpeg

On to the multi signature cards. Dual Signatures, there are three, all pictured below. One with Arimis Ramirez, one with Mike Schmidt, and one with Jose Reyes.....all of which are numbered /25.
Resized_20211010_182335.jpeg

Only one Three Star Signatures card, with Jose Reyes and Mike Piazza, numbered /20.
Resized_20211010_182403.jpeg

One Four Star Signatures card. Joining Wright are; Arimis Ramirez, Eric Chavez, and Scott Rolen. Numbered to /15.
Resized_20211010_182427.jpeg

There is an Eight Star Signatures, which I haven't found yet. Numbered to /5, it features; Adrian Beltre, Chipped Jones, Eric Chavez, Hank Blalock, Mike Schmidt, Scott Rolen, and Wade Boggs. Might be able to track that one down. I won't, however, be able to track down the Eight Star Signatures Choice 1/1. That fella, if ever found, features Wright with; Derek Jeter, Albert Pujols, Cal Ripken Jr., Don Mattingly, Ken Griffey Jr., Roger Clemens, and Nolan Ryan. So you could see how, even if it surfaces, I probably won't be the winner of that bidding war. I'll certainly try though!

Now the Materials Signatures cards. First, the plain Materials Signatures, base and Patch. Numbered /25 and /10 respectively.
Resized_20211010_182500.jpeg

Next, the Materials Signatures Young Stars; base /20 and Patch /10.
Resized_20211010_182557.jpeg

And last of the Materials Signatures single autos is the Sluggers base and Patch. Like the above, numbered /20 and /10.
Resized_20211010_182623.jpeg

The last of the Materials Signatures cards are all Duals. There are three Dual and three Dual Patch cards. Regular jersey swatch duals /10 and patches /5. Same three players are featured in each. Wright with; Jose Reyes, Arimis Ramirez, and Mike Schmidt. I only have the two pictured below. There are a few out there right now, but the Buy-It-Nows are too high for me.
Resized_20211010_182648.jpeg

Thus concludes a fairly decent effort at 2005 Ultimate Collection.

Busy last few days, but thank goodness I'm home before 10pm tonight.

2005 Upper Deck. From Signature Sensations; base /15 and die-cut parallel /10. And yes, you are seeing correctly......the die-cut is on a sticker and the base is on card. Go figure!
Resized_20211012_232647.jpeg

2005 Upper Deck ESPN. From ESPN Ink, only the one unnumbered card. I didn't think this one was too rare, but upon looking it up, seems auto hits were one per case, or 1:480 packs. I guess that's not too bad, all things considered. I never really looked into how rare each unnumbered card I have would be based on the pack ratio and other such things. Might be fun to go back and take a look, just for my own entertainment.
Resized_20211012_232713.jpeg

2005 Upper Deck MVP. From the All-Star Signatures subset. Unnumbered print run of /25 according to UD.
