Did FCB's booth at The National end up boosting our members?

Do want the site to grow to make more money or what is the reason. I feel like for every good member that would be added we would add 10 crappy ones. The one thing I like about this board vs the old becket board is the size. The old becket was big and there was a lot of idiots.

I want the site to grow


As it grows we will be able to do more things with it. I do not want it to be "just a message board"

I'm very curious. What types of things do you hope to add to FCB that would put it past the message board status?

another popular sports card MB has grown into a monthly sports card magazine that is being sold at shops and shows now and its membership are the ones writing the articles. They are doing a great job.

Did it start out as a message board or start out as a company that added a message board? It was before my time.

Started as a MB and grew from there. Its not beckett if thats what your thinking, lol.

Beckett was the one on my mind but i wasn't sure. I know a lot of companies jumpstart their business and then add a MB, whereas few start as a MB and turn it into some sort of business expanding outside of message boards

Its very important that we expand the site so we can finance "Blanning gone wild", coming soon to an adult shop near you.

Nope HI, they have a very good sports card magazine called The insiders edge. Its everything that people wanted out of beckett, no price guides and lots of articles focusing on collectors, their collections, hobby news etc, interviews with athletes about the hobby, etc. It my favorite sports card magazine these days.

This will be our first fall/winter on FCB since moving over. Could get slow around here (baseball boards). I hope some of the other boards pick up.

Everyone was still moving over here. It was up and going ,but I would count this fall/winter as more of a test.

Shouldn't be an issue since

a) most of the baseball people are baseball only
and
b) we are heavily trafficked by prospectors and they will need to pimp their prospects regardless of part of year.

Honestly, when everyone moved over and I then I read talk about ads etc. I assumed it was a $ making venture. I didn't really know Chris or the others that were involved intentions. I was wrong and this board has been a valuable asset to the hobby. Thanks for having it.
