so why do you oppose it now instead of fighting the rules when they were originally made?

Why are you always trying to provoke an argument? You should really relax when the thing in question really does not pertain to you in the least. I dont like to call people out, but lately it has been incessant.
I am not provoking anything. I want to see where they are coming from. I provided them the rule from the TOS, and now that they have said that, I questioned their previous actions (or lack thereof) and why they have made it a problem now.

I have no intention to start an argument.

Thank you

The TOS of a website, if they are created post-creation of the site, are not created with input from the members. They had no say. In defense of the site, even though the TOS were created after some members had originally signed up, the TOS is clearly posted at the top of the forums visible for all to read. If you use these forums, it is assumed that you have read the TOS and agree to abide by the terms of said TOS. If not, as I stated earlier, choose not to use the forums. Its really a simple thing to understand. EOM![/quote:3kj2hucn]
So where did the topic of me starting an argument come up?

In another style, I was trying to relay that exact message you just typed.

Did you access nextlevels pm's?

we ran our query on it yes

It did not show us any information in the box, but it did let us know if there were any links to card informant in it.

We did not run anything against nextlevel, it was done against the entire board.

Just dont run any checks for dirty websites or i might be in trouble.

That answers your question.

You agree to it by joining the site.

SCARY!!!

It shouldn't be.

It is a statement/rule that basically is a precaution taken to make sure all other rules are followed.

As long as you abide by the laws of the site, you shouldn't have to worry about it.

i disagree.

We don't directly access anyone's pms unless there is evidence that person is ripping someone off.

again its your right, but i think there is a contradiction between your statement that only if there is evidence. But all is good this is still a great place.

The other day my friend was looking for baseball gloves and was trying to go to Dick's Sporting Goods' website, but he forgot the "sportinggoods" part in the URL. Hate when that happens. :?

Its implied with your wording and phrasing. How many times in the last week has a mod had to ask you to stop? Im not going to reply to anything else, because it can be construed as an argument, but you should really learn to just accept something being said at face value and formulate your own opinion without requiring someone else to spell everything out for you. Its part of maturity.........

*In a non argument, calm conversational tone*

I still do not understand how people hear a "tone" to that question I posed regarding their disagreement with the TOS. After re-reading my question, I think I just asked why they have a problem with is now as opposed to before.

I do not require anyone to "spell things out for me", but I do think hearing their reasoning would be appropriate after they clearly presented their stance on the situation.

That is funny you bring this up.
My friends daughter was looking for some soccer stuff.
Like you stated, she also did not put in the rest of the url, not knowing she should.
Imagine the shock of a father finding out that dicks.com is not the same as dickssportinggoods.com
:o  :o

You really don't know the answer to that? 95% of the members did not/will not read the TOS. Plain and simple. Why does it matter to you why I (or anyone else) has a problem with it? I could have sworn I presented my "stance" to Chris...not you. I could have sent it via "PM", but seeing as they aren't private why bother.
