So, I accidentally posted a New Topic to say hello instead of just replying like a moron. Well, here is my hello to the baseball board. Got back into the card collecting habit after a 10 year hiatus. Alum of and played ball at UVA so actively trying to track down cards of all my former teammates. Also a HUGE Braves fan and collect anything from the '95 team(Ryan Klesko FTW) and current guys of course. Finally, live in Northern VA and frequent the Nats games to chase autos so collect Nats also. Thanks everyone. Love seeing all the scans of cards I will never break.

So I am not so much new as I am returning after a long hiatus from busting wax. I have been a lurker for a few weeks and got the itch to return to ripping and flipping like I used to do a few years ago.

Some might remember me, some may not, but it's good to be back. I will probably bust Bowman Draft as my unceremonious return the hobby!

Howdy! I just joined the community, and wanted to leave something. I am getting back into collecting cards after stopping years ago. I just had my first son 2 months ago, and began to remember when I would open a pack and the feeling I would get. I want him to feel that too, and it gave me the itch to get back into it. I mainly stick with baseball and football cards, especially Braves and Cowboys from the 90's (when I was a kid, searching everywhere for Emmitt Smith and Chipper Jones cards.

HELLO ALL!
I recently joined after a few months of reading through all your great topics. I've been collecting on/off for about 10 years, and I've just got back into it after a few years of not collecting at all. I grew up in southern california and my main card shop is in Buena Park,CA. I now live in Santa Barbara for college, and I frequent a great little shop in that area. I love ripping into packs, but I do have a soft spot for anything Nomar Garciaparra or Nolan Ryan.
