Hi!
I'm late to the game but I just discovered the world of online card blogging, trading, and forums this summer. I'd read the boards before, but signed up during the Halloween contest to have a little fun. My lack of effort led to the shutout, but I don't want to be seen as signing up just for that.
I'm from Brooklyn, fan of all sports but baseball is tops in my book. I'm a Met fan although I don't hate on the Yanks and collect their cards too. My collection is fairly basic 80's through 2010 stuff, not too pricey, but it makes me happy. I pretty much stopped picking up stuff when I went to college, but since I've been out, I've been adding to it again.
And...I'm in law school.

My name is Barry and I live in Albany, NY. I am also on the PSA boards and have been for a long time. I also am a member of SCN.
Most of my collecting focus is autos on cards. Not certified ones but TTM and IP.
Im currently working on the 88-90 Pacific Legends mostly. I also do rookies and I toss in what ever else I find or mail out. I also work on multiplayer cards and league leader cards but only those I can complete.
I lightly work on 70s sets. I have about 1/3 to 1/2 of 73, 74, and 75. My 76 set is about 40 cards from being complete. I have a complete 77 set that needs upgrading and working on raw nm/mt 78 and 79 sets. I am missing about 150 from 78 and only have 1/4 of the 79s because I am so picky about them.
I also like signed bats, mostly of HOFers or Yankees. That is not a focus, only something I have just begun to appreciate more. I only have 2 bats right now...Rose and Snider.

Been collecting baseball off and on since I was a boy; I have an unopened box of 1978 Topps. Picked up in 2000 and bought some BC, skipped 2001 unfortunately, and then bought 2002, off for 03 through 07. Bought a lot of 08 BC and then just one box of 09. Nothing this year. I am a Brewers fan at heart, but like to collect prospects. Most valuable card is an UD Mantle/Griffey auto from 94 (I loved the look). I've never graded cards and will probably start. I have two 08 BC Jesus Montero auto cards I got out of boxes and may try to grade one.
Still not sure how all the images and sigs get posted.

Hi I am a collect-a-holic, collected back in the 80's as a kid, and now back into to it. Working on older sets is fun for me, and I enjoy unicorns and long walks on the beach

Hi folks - just joined the boards and thought I would say 'hi'. Been a member of the CU boards for well over a year, and joined blowouts forums a few months back as well. Mostly collect baseball prospects, with my short term focus on Miguel Sano and Kyle Gibson as a twins fan. Slowly building a decent Heyward collection as well.

Today I collect football and baseball, with my main interests being cards from my favorite football team, the Colts and baseball prospects. Although I'm alway looking for a nice auto or GU card from any vet for my personal collection.
I started selling cards a on eBay about two years ago, but ditched my unused account at the beginning of this year for a newer one with my name being the same as my username here. Love the site.

Hey everyone
Just joined after an eBay member mentioned the place. I started way back in '82 and '82 Topps still holds a place in my heart. And '82 Fleer and Donruss too. I have too much of that wax just sitting here. Collected up through '89, unfortunately, and have tons of waste as a result. Got back into it a bit in '99 and got quite a bit of Bowman Chrome that year. Got back out in 2000 and got back in about 2 years ago when I started in on Montero stuff, as a life-long Yankee fan. Since then been doing the prospecting thing and picking up some classic boxes when I see them at decent prices. My fav cards are '87 Fleer and the following Platinum release of the same style years later. Just beauties. But mostly now I pick up prospects as I said, pretty much Yankees that tweek my fancy. Seems I've dealt with a number of you through eBay (user: dragsy) and now hopefully through here. At some point have to make the Montero/Sanchez sig...

Hi all. A collecter here from the UK. I have been collecting for about 3 years,my pc's are James Shields and Scott Kazmir and have just started on Wade Davis.I also enjoy buying,selling and trading.
