What kind of discount on case prices do you guys who buy case-lots usually get, if anything, when you buy 10 or more cases?

I'd guess 5-10% discount on 10 cases, right??? Just a guess. Never done it!

How about 25 or more cases? 20% discount?

Thanks.

It really depending ends on what kind of deal you work out.

Owning a shop I pay like 4-8% over direct cost when I need more than I can buy direct.

Margins can be so thin on these products, I doubt any rule of thumb discount can be used.

Thanks for the info. What if you have the funds, however?

I imagine, but still some general feel from those who have bought cases in quantity before would be appreciated. Thanks!

It depends on the product and your willingness and ability to negotiate. There is no set discount, and sometimes none at all. Of course if you're buying one case and buying it at Blowout's web price for example, you haven't really done your homework, but you can definitely find it cheaper. Lots of the larger case breakers work with Josh at ATL. He's a great guy and very fair. He doesn't gouge like BO tends to on release of a typically hot selling release. Then again, sometimes that can burn you like it did with Draft Jumbo this year...but I believe that to be an anomaly.
