I’m going to be in Chicago next weekend, so we celebrated Father’s Day early.
My son got me a gold Tom Grieve bobblehead. Last year, the Rangers would randomly give out 100 gold versions of each bobblehead. This is my first gold variation.

Nice gold Grieve. Glad I didn't have to chase any bobble variations for those 3 that Garvey was featured on.
I recall back in the mid-late 2000s, Mc D or BK had Simpsons kid meals and there was a special golden Homer figure. I don't remember how hard they were to get, probably not very. My son got one and we were pretty happy about it.
Speaking of gold figures, the local minor league club near me, Everett Aqua Sox (Mariners farm club) does Funko Pop giveaways, since they are practically neighbors, and have seen some low production gold parallels for those that people have gone bonkers for.
