It's not Cutler's fault he's having a terrible season, the Bears suck. He has nobody to help him and his receivers are second rate at best. It's tough to be a good QB when you have no one to throw to. To be fair though, he's quite arrogant and has a horrible mental game apparently.

just a matter of time before the excuses for cutler started...25 int's is not because the bears suck..its because the qb does, i mean seriously look at some of the qbs around this league who are playing with less than what he is and they arent throwing 25 pics..

Would Bears fans rather have Wrecks Grossman back?

to be fair grossman didnt throw 25 pics and had a better qb rating which is very scary for bears and cutler fans

No, Cutler does suck. The Bears top rusher from last year returned, they still have their top 5 receivers from last year on the team, and they picked up Orlando Pace to protect the QB. Granted Pace is injured, but overall, the offense hasnt changed much from last year yet Culter is turning the ball over more than Grossman ever did.

Neither cutler nor Neckbeard were the answer. They needed to pick up a free agent or draft someone and get lucky.

I'm not saying Cutler is great, it's just ridiculous to put the blame solely on his shoulder when there are other glaring weaknesses on the team. It's not all his fault. As far as their leading rusher from last year, I'd even say Forte has been more of a disappointment this year than Cutler. And for the top 5 receivers returning, they all suck so I'm not sure what the significance of that is. I wonder how many of the Ints are from incorrect routes or a lack of playmaking by the receivers compared to just bad passes from Cutler. If he had someone good like Brandon Marshall to throw to, you can bet his numbers would be much, much better. Pace is injured and has played 13 years. One of the all time greats, but likely well past his prime even when healthy. It's just silly to place the blame all on Cutler, football is the ultimate team sport.

Cutler is partly to blame, but certainly not all his fault. I think the defense is most to blame, followed by the O-Line which is the reason for the poor running attack, and then Cutler. I think his WR's are okay, but if you improved that Oline, you would see a huge difference. This guy is still a top 5 talent QB. Build a team around him, he is only 25 or 26.

lmao top 5....i hope you mean top 5 worst qbs of the season...like i said before as bad a grossman was he never had 25 pics, i never thought the team was a playoff team to begin with but he completely ruined that team, look at them last year with orton who by the way wasnt to great himself but obviously played WAY WAY above cutler

you would rate cutler ahead of kurt warner, brett farve, philip rivers, and aaron rodgers :benson:

alot of qbs in the league dont have brandon marshall type receivers but they are not throwing 25 ints...i just find it hard to believe its all the teams fault when orton wasnt that bad with them last year..but he could throw forty ints in a season and their would always be an excuse for cutler

I know reading comprehension is difficult for some on here and it's easy to just disregard some words in a statement, but he said Cutler is a top 5 TALENT in the league. That really has nothing to do with performance. Cutler is likely one of the 5 most talented QBs, certailny top 10.

Everyone needs a scapegoat. That is easier than actually analyzing the situation and seeing what the real problems are.

so your telling me someone with a 71 qb rating and 25 pics is a top 5 talent :o ....if it wasnt jay cutler someone with those numbers would not even be in the league...by the way i think ron dayne is still top 5 rb talent lol
