LOL, great post. CC is a post season zero. Hopefully he's able to turn it around this postseason but I'm not counting on it

Considering how many innings he's thrown to get into the postseason, it isn't that big a shock. Not everyone can coast through the regular season like Beckett and be 100% come playoff time.

Difference there is that Beckett has missed time almost every season during the regular season and hasn't been great by any measure in the regular season. CC has been much better in the regular season than Beckett ever has. Most overrated pitcher in the league (Beckett).

Sly said:First off, CC isn't even the second best pitcher in the AL this season.
Second, for those saying "he's in the toughest division in baseball"...I ask this:
Bos & TB or ANA & Tex?
Last I checked, Anaheim has a better record than Boston and Texas has a better record than Tampa Bay. Hell, you can go one further and say that Oakland and Toronto have the same record, therefore, they're on par.
Let's not forget, CC plays FOR the best team in baseball.
Any voter who thinks CC deserves it for 20 wins, while playing on the team with the best record in baseball, despite ALL of his numbers being worse than Greinke and Felix, needs to have his/her voting rights revoked.

Yea, comparing the 2nd best team in the East with the best team in the West and the 3rd best team in the East with the 2nd best team in the West according to records makes A LOT of sense. ::facepalm::

He was making the point that CC doesn't have to face the Yankees, while Felix has to face the two best teams in his division.

Exactly.
Saying CC plays in the "toughest division" is a load of BS, since he doesn't have to face the best team in that division. Instead, he faces the 2nd through 5th teams, which are worse than the 1st, 2nd and 4th teams that Felix faces in the West.
Anaheim > Boston
Texas > TB
Oakland > Toronto AND Baltimore
Oh, and on top of it, Felis HAS faced the "best team in baseball" this year and owned them in his one start. He's also faced the second best team in the AL (Anaheim) four times and has pretty much owned them.
So yes, it IS a fair comparis
